I have been wheat weaving for nearly 20 years.  I learned at a renaissance fair, I was demonstrating wool spinning and weaving, when I saw the wheat weaving and saw their folk lore I feel in love with them.  So each weekend I would literally skip down to the booth to take a lesson. 

I am inspired in many ways to create designs, I have found ideas in jewelry quilting and from a book of ancient symbolism.  I like to say they are much like ancient greeting cards, folks would give them out to loved one’s in much the same way.
