The Kitchen Witch

Everybody needs one!  A product of German folklore, she is a powerful force for good in your kitchen.  She keeps the milk from curdling, the cakes from falling,
and makes the bread dough rise without fail.  No evil spirit will wreak havoc in your kitchen with the
Kitchen Witch on duty.

The Carlin of Scotland

This “Old Woman” of Scotland is a powerful source of protection.  This “Hoary Old Hag” still seen today in parts of Scotland, protects the home from all manner of “unearthly visitations”. She is most powerful at Nighttime and in the Winter, but her benevolent protection extends throughout the year.

Welcome and Warding
House Blessing

This ancient symbol is found throughout the world, in Europe from Scandinavia to North Africa.  In the Teutonic and Scandinavian countries, it was a hex symbol to ward away bad influences and to welcome the good.  The people of the house are sheltered within it's protecting arms as it makes the home a safe, happy and comfortable place to gather with friends and family.
$38.00   18"w x 18"h

Luck for the Comin’ and the Goin’

This delightful weaving, as it’s name suggests, is for protection when going away from home.  It was hung on the wall near the door and as just as the traveler was to depart they would give the weave two pats.  Then they would be protected from all manner of harm while they were away from home.  Upon returning
the “Luck for the Comin’ and the Goin’ “would be
patted again when entering the home.
$32.00  13"w x 19"h

The Circle and Star
House Blessing

This pentagram, or 5 point star, represents the 4 ancient elements of earth, air, fire and water, controlled by eternal spirit, the top of the star. It is a powerful amulet of protection.  Sir Gawaian, one of the principal knights of King Arthur, bore the symbol on his shield during his quest for the Holy Grail.  This charm keeps safe all those under it's protection.
$22.00   13"w x 16"h

The Star of Rings

The Star of Rings is regarded as one of the most mystical symbols. The interlacement of the Star and rings forms a “Gateless” pattern of protection. The ancient Celts believed that  this handsome design with its endless interlacing pattern would lead the eye  and mind to peace, harmony. and insure one’s happiness.
$45.00   8"w x 8"h

THE SHAMROCK

The Shamrock, {or Mother-Hearts as it was known by the Celtic Tribes}, represented the three Mothers of Celtic lore, sometimes called the Three Brigids or Three Morgans.  Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, later used the Shamrock to explain the Gospel of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and the Holy Ghost during his sermons.  Since most three sided symbols represent a magical influence, the giving or receiving of a Shamrock is believed to bring with it good luck in the future.
